2024-2025
In Wood House, we rebirth an architecture that already showcases the beauty of local craftsmanship and expand its function to not only become the space that accommodate its new vision as daily rentals but also frames the beautiful view of its natural environment. The rebirth of this wood house centers around respecting its existing structures, with columns extending two levels below the ground floor. We aim to redefine the spatial programming to align with the owner’s vision of transforming the space into short-term business rentals. While parts of the ground floor may be removed, they will be repurposed for use in the lower levels and as elements of furniture. Additionally, the design will be thoughtfully aligned with the local climate, sun, and wind directions, creating a harmonious connection between the house and its natural environment.
