Vibha Vanara

Vibha Vanara reimagines the traditional Balinese compound — a cluster of buildings organized around shared courtyards — as a contemporary residential development in Canggu.

The project comprises multiple residential units arranged around a central garden. Each unit operates independently while sharing landscape infrastructure: pools, gardens, and communal gathering spaces. The architecture draws from the compound typology while introducing modern construction methods and spatial efficiencies.

Materials follow ALA’s established palette: reclaimed teak, exposed concrete, and natural stone. The landscape design prioritizes mature tropical planting to create immediate sense of place.
