Prana Singakerta

Prana Singakerta is a private residence set among the rice fields of Singakerta, near Ubud. The design arranges the house as two linked volumes that frame a central pool and garden, drawing the surrounding landscape into the heart of the home.

Living spaces open fully to the garden through wide sliding walls, dissolving the boundary between interior and exterior. Deep roof overhangs provide shade and shelter from tropical rain while preserving uninterrupted views across the site.

The material palette stays close to ALA’s language — natural stone, warm timber, and lime-washed surfaces — chosen to age gracefully in the humid climate and to sit quietly within its agricultural setting.
